Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory

Praying for the dead is one of the Spiritual Works of Mercy.

Tradition holds that Jesus told St. Gertrude that 1000 souls would be released from Purgatory whenever she prayed this prayer.  

Let us join together and pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, otherwise known as the Church Suffering.
